Innovate-Educate New Mexico aims to engage industry leaders and encourage states to embrace policies that make it easier to design smart solutions that serve 21st century students and address 21st century challenges. The quick impulse is to dictate one-size-fits-all solutions across the board, but we seek to foster a flexible, performance-oriented culture that will help our schools meet today’s educational challenges.
IENM will lead New Mexico to ensure the proper STEM education occurs in every state. Our efforts to create new opportunities and new ideas at the state and national level may just serve as the first straightforward model this country has seen for delivering systematic improvements in STEM education by applying best practices in a coordinated, methodical, and proven way.
